The date above should always sit near the top of the page, visible before a user reads any further. Terms of Service pages change periodically as products, jurisdictions, and payout processes evolve, and a visible last-updated date lets returning users quickly tell whether anything relevant to them has shifted since they last checked.
1. Definitions
Clear terminology matters more on a gambling platform than on most other kinds of websites, since disputes often hinge on exactly what a word meant at the moment a bet was placed. A few core terms worth defining explicitly:
- Bet – an amount of cryptocurrency wagered on a game, sports event, or market outcome.
- Winnings – the amount credited to a player’s Account as the result of a successful Bet.
- Account – the registered profile through which a player accesses and uses the Platform.
Additional terms – Bonus, Wagering Requirement, Self-Exclusion, and so on – should be defined the same way, in plain language, rather than assumed to be self-evident.
2. Verification (KYC)
Before processing larger withdrawals, most licensed platforms – BC.Game included – reserve the right to request identity verification. A typical KYC request includes a government-issued photo ID, proof of address such as a recent utility bill or bank statement, and, where relevant, proof that the payment method used actually belongs to the account holder. Spelling this out clearly in advance reduces confusion later, since a withdrawal delay tied to a document request lands very differently when a player already expected it might happen.
3. Payout rules
This section should cover the practical mechanics of getting money out: minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts, which typically vary by cryptocurrency; the platform’s standard processing time; and a clear statement that network fees – the cost the blockchain itself charges to process a transaction – are separate from, and not controlled by, the platform’s own fee structure. Being explicit about this distinction heads off a common source of confusion, since a slow transaction is sometimes a network congestion issue rather than a platform delay.
4. Dispute resolution
Finally, the agreement should state how disputes are handled if something goes wrong: first through Customer Support directly, and if that doesn’t resolve things, under the jurisdiction. It’s also worth noting that complaints can be filed with the relevant licensing authority – for a Curaçao-licensed operator, that would currently be the Curaçao Gaming Authority under the LOK framework, though the exact authority and process should be confirmed against BC.Game’s current, active licence before this section is finalised.
